A missing boy. A town buried in secrets. A deputy who won't quit.

After a devastating incident shakes the small fishing town of Weyport, residents blame Michael Tanner for what happened. Ridiculed and shunned, he endures it all for the sake of his little boy, Archie.

Then Archie suddenly disappears, and everyone thinks Michael is imagining it - even his oldest friend.

Hopeless, desperate, and prepared to risk it all, Michael finds compassion in a new deputy who soon discovers there is something far more sinister behind Archie's disappearance.

Sit back, relax, and join Deputy Sheriff Angus Reid as he discovers the truth behind the disappearance of Archie Tanner.

❑ BOOK 1: JACOB'S WELL

Dark secrets swirl around the small coastal town of Weyport as Mary-Jean Foley discovers just how far she would go to protect her son.

Even with a new sheriff in town. Even when her husband doesn’t agree. Even when she thinks God isn’t looking. But how far is too far and at what cost?

❑ BOOK 2: DANIEL'S OIL

Beneath layers of twisted lies and long-kept secrets, the truth unravels, one by one...

Master builder, Daniel Richardson's life is turned upside down when the horrific discovery of a body in one of his houses sends shockwaves through the peaceful community of Weyport. As Sheriff Angus Reid untangles the case, ancient secrets claw their way back to the surface. Every twist discloses more terrifying facts, and the closer he gets to the truth, the more perilous it becomes.

❑ BOOK 3: CALEB'S CROSS

Beneath the surface of perfection, darkness festers in unexpected places.

A nearby quiet town becomes the backdrop for a perplexing murder mystery when a chiropractor is found dead. Sheriff Angus Reid is tasked with solving the strange case that plunges him deep into the lives of a nearby Amish community. With no apparent clues and a seemingly fruitless autopsy, Reid is determined to uncover the truth behind the mysterious death.

★★★★★

"Excellent SeriesI almost never actually buy books. I either look for freebies or borrow from the library. However, after reading the free prequel “Lost Boy”, I bought “Jacob’s Well” and subsequently the other two books in the series. Nearly red each of them in one sitting. They are “can’t put them down “ books. They are excellent." - Reader Review

All 3 books are great

I enjoyed reading all 3 books. Look forward to the 4th book. I found the author didn’t get bogged down in describing everything to the extreme. Story flowed well and every time I had to put the reading down I returning with eagerness as to what will happen next!

One of those books I did not want to put down

This book was one of the best books I have read. Read it in a couple or days. Very suspenseful. The characters are so believable. I could really identify with the mother and how she could not believe her son could be involved in any kind of trouble and then wanting to protect her son and all the fear when she felt he was in danger. I really liked Angus Reid because he was so compassionate and believed in justice when crimes were committed. He would not stop until he resolved the case. The end was eye opening when the mother was able to see some of the same things within herself that she had accused her husband of. Very clean — no bad language or sexual content.
