You can never go wrong with an Angus Reid Mystery, and Hannah's Halo is no exception! I loved Hannah's drive to banish evil from her town, and her desire to prove the facts before she gets the Angus and the law involved. She was such a fun, plucky character! Angus is everything a lawman should be: upright, steady, and analytical, but with a caring heart. I keep hoping that one day there will be a book about him and Murphy!

Book 4 of Sheriff Angus Reid is another page turning mystery.

Sheriff Reid is called upon when Hannah, the local journalist goes missing.

As Sheriff Reid digs deeper, looking for Hannah, more twists and turns occur, sending the reader round in circles, trying to work out the good guys from the bad.

Just when you think you have it worked out, another plot twist or murder gets in the way, making it harder for you to work out who the baddie is.

A very good, clean cut, page turner, that will keep you guessing until the last pages.

In this fast paced and action packed crime thriller Sheriff Angus Reid is at his best - he is determined that a kidnapped reporter will be found before the clock runs out on her life (or has it already?) and at the same time it is imperative that he and his men solve a high body count crime. Sheriff Reid is awesome - he shows great courage in dealing with some pretty scary criminals. In solving this most challenging and convoluted crime he prays for strength and wisdom and remains strong yet humble which I greatly admire and respect. I look forward to future Angus Reid thrillers!

Sheriff Reid investigates the disappearance of Hannah Jackson who has been taken by corrupt people trying to keep their crimes undercover.

Yet every move Sheriff Reid makes to follow the lead to find Hannah comes to not and he must look for other clues to follow.

There many layers with twists and turns, as the story unfolds before Sheriff Reid can put all of the puzzle pieces together.

I think you will really enjoy this book, I know I did!!

This mystery is sure to keep you guessing all the way to the unexpected end. Hannah Jackson is a small town journalist with the ambition of uncovering that big story and thus becoming famous. However, this desire had snuck up on her and slowly but surely pulled her deeper into its grip until she found herself caught in a deadly game where the stakes were nothing less than her own life.

Will Sheriff Angus Reid and his deputy Miguel manage to solve this mystery before more people die? Listening to direction from the still small voice of the Lord, he forges on, praying that Hannah will be found alive.

You kept me until the end what would happen but the content in between was a mixture of faith & suspense..couldn't put it down

From the very first paragraph, I was hooked! Hannah has herself in a dangerous game of getting the goods on the bad guys. The twists and turns keep you reading until the end! Never underestimate the power of Greed and Ambition!

I loved these 3 books.i could not put them down. Each book was unique and had a different story line. I am not a fast reader but went thru all 3 books in a matter of a few days. Excellent read!

Hannah’s Halo is book 4 of Urcelia Teixeira’s book series about Angus Reid, the sheriff in Weyport, a small coastal town in New England. (I suggest you read Urcelia’s prequel, Little Boy Lost, which lays the foundation for Angus and the town he is now protecting.) Even though Hannah’s Halo is book 4 in a series, you can enjoy this book without reading the earlier books in the series as they are all stand alone books.

Hannah Jackson is the protagonist in this book. She’s a young reporter in Weyport whose goal is to be a reporter in New York City. She’s caught wind of darkness brewing in the local Grand Casino and is determined to expose the darkness and its minions. In her mind, this is the “big” story that will land her the dream reporter job. Tossing common sense aside, ignoring her editor, Clara Matthews’s warnings, Hannah walks straight into a sinister “can of worms” that is not a can she should have opened.

Urcelia introduces numerous dark players who don’t have a problem silencing those who are in their way. With each new dark player, there is a new twist. Each dark player is after something. What? And then there’s another dead body. Hannah has gone missing, and I’m wondering if she’ll be the next dead body. I am very curious and read this book in one day as I could not put it down. As typical, I wanted to see “who done it” and why. Urcelia continues to outdo herself by keeping this reader on the edge of her seat.

Sheriff Angus Reid appears in chapter 9. He is brought into the “can of worms” with Clara filing a missing person’s report on Hannah. Angus is an excellent sheriff who is not bought by criminals and sets out with his associate Miguel to find Hannah. In their quest, dead body after dead body turn up, leaving more unanswered questions. Angus and Miguel know the clock is ticking. Will they find Hannah before she is the next dead body?

I continue to appreciate the cleanness of Urcelia’s books. No swearing. No sex. No graphic violence. God is always part of every book. This book has a great redemption ending. Urcelia writes a novel everyone can enjoy – from teen to grandparent.

I recommend you add Hannah’s Halo to your summer reading list. It’s a great suspense filled book that will keep you guessing until the end.

I’m only in my 1st book, I am enjoying the read and looking forward to the rest of this series

I loved these books & kept me totally enthralled..I'm not a fast reader but these kept me glued
